About Us

Originally from Hammond, Louisiana, I've lived in Japan since 2011. I work for the government of Japan as the BASH Program Manager, supporting joint U.S.-Japan operations at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, where our team has maintained zero damaging bird strikes for over three years and ten months. I work as a licensed saltwater fishing guide in the Iwakuni area, where I've spent over a decade teaching locals and visitors the coastal waters of Japan. In 2024 I obtained my hunting and trapping license and became a licensed gun dealer and gunsmith. I'm completing a Master of Natural Resources degree at the University of Idaho, graduating December 2026, and I'm working toward my Certified Wildlife Biologist and Qualified Airport Wildlife Biologist credentials, plus the ICAO Airfield Wildlife Management course in Singapore. My background includes project management and safety, with an EMT-B certification. I'm currently expanding my work into human-wildlife conflict management.

ルイジアナ州の Hammond 出身で、2011 年から日本に住んでいます。日本政府の下で BASH（バード・ストライク対策）プログラム・マネージャーとして勤務し、岩国基地（MCAS Iwakuni）での米日共同運用を支援しています。私たちのチームは、損傷を伴うバードストライクを 3 年 10 か月連続でゼロに維持しています。

岩国周辺では、10 年以上にわたり地元の方々や観光客に沿岸の釣りを教える、ライセンスを持つソルトウォーター・フィッシングガイドとして活動しています。

2024 年には、鳥獣の捕獲免許を取得し、銃砲刀剣類販売業・銃砲修理業の免許も取得しました。

現在、アイダホ大学で自然資源学修士課程を修了中で、2026 年 12 月に卒業予定です。認定野生生物学者（Certified Wildlife Biologist）と認定空港野生生物学者（Qualified Airport Wildlife Biologist）の資格取得に向けて準備を進めており、シンガポールで ICAO 空港野生生物管理コースも受ける予定です。

経歴には、プロジェクトマネジメントと安全分野の経験、そして EMT-B（救急救命士）の資格が含まれます。

現在は、人と野生動物の軋轢（コンフリクト）管理の分野にも活動を広げています。
